About

“Writing is 90 percent procrastination,” playwright Paul Rudnick once said. “Reading magazines, eating the cereal out of the box, watching infomercials.”

My name is Megan Cole, and I am a magazine-skimming, cereal-scarfing, infomercial addict. I like to call myself a writer, but lately, I’ve been too busy memorizing ShamWow commercials and putting away bowls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch to actually commit much to paper. Procrastination and writer’s block are thinly-veiled excuses for fear of failure – and even if I’m failing in all that I write, I have to write, because writing (and sometimes failing) is what I do.

This is a collection of my thoughts, my work, my stories, my poems, and my life – everything I do in between cereal breaks.
